Tyler Together is sponsored the annual community-wide Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration on January 19, 2015.

2015 Celebration Theme

“Let There Be Peace on Earth

and Let It Begin with Me”

Event Details

Festivities began at 9:00 am with a short program on the Tyler Downtown Square. Then a parade from the Square on N. Broadway to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (Front & Broadway).  The main program will began at 10 am.

Featured Speaker : Attorney Frederick Barrow

Tyler Together is excited to have Frederick Barrow, a founding partner of Stafford Barrow, PLLC, as our Featured Speaker. A 1991 Graduate of Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Frederick also received his J.D Degree (magna cum laude, 2002) from Southern University Law Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

An active member of the Dallas community, Frederick is the former president of the J.L. Turner Legal Association-The African-American Bar Association of Dallas; a former member of the Board of Directors for the Dallas Bar Association; and currently serves as a member of the Legal Advisory Task Force for Congresswoman Eddie B. Johnson (30th District of Texas), as well as a fellow for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Dallas Bar Foundation and the State Bar of Texas Foundation.

Frederick delivers transformative messages that leave his audience ready to address “what’s next” in achieving their most important personal and business goals. Whether serving as a momentum builder or dream accelerator, his passion is providing audiences with new ways of viewing their current challenges.
