May 2017 Community Forum Tyler Police Chief Jimmy Toler was featured speaker as Tyler Together kicked off their new Community Forum Series on Tuesday, May 16,2017.  After a brief Meet and Greet where people were invited to partake of some light refreshments and introduce themselves, Chief Toler shared the latest Crime Statistics including a demographic breakdown. Cultural Diversity Gathering: Chinese New Year (Feb 2014)

On February 18, 2014, the monthly Cultural Diversity Gathering was held at the City of Tyler Public Library. The Theme was “Lunar New Year – Short film “Discovering China:  CHINESE NEW YEAR!” This month’s event  began with a crowd mixer with Food from Potbelly’s Catering and featured a video “Discovering China : CHINESE NEW YEAR!” .  Afterwards, Peter Eng (City of Tyler Traffic Engineer)  lead a great discussion forum about Chinese New Year Customs and Traditions.
