About The Black History Knowledge Bowl
After a 10 year hiatus, The Black History Knowledge Bowl returned to the Tyler Area. Previous Bowls were part of the S.T.E.P (Scholastic Target Education Program) organized by Connie Isabell and the late Judy Holman.
The Knowledge Bowl is a Black History themed quiz-type competition among various local churches, schools, and organizations. Our aim is to expose local area youth to the various contributions and achievements made by African-Americans throughout our Nation’s History.
Theme: “African-Americans In Times of War”
